I feel bad promising a vlog while I was preparing dinner this Friday and I never got around to doing it, seeing as Colin had called while I had began cooking. It isnt a huge deal, but I'll probably end up doing one tomorrow when I'm done with my photography assignment tomorrow.

But I've got some great news and I hope you'll all be able to help in some way:

To anyone in the Dutchess County area, Colin and myself will be at The Dragons Den in Marshall's Plaza in Poughkeepsie, NY running a Toy Soldier toy drive all day on November 28th. All proceeds go to Toys 4 Tots. We'd mentioned this previously on Killer Robot. They were kind enough to give us a table, so we'll be giving away free coffee and donuts if you donate!

There's more! If you're unable to donate a toy, we are taking monetary donations for a second charity, Child's Play, run by the guys over at Penny Arcade. We wont be accepting cash at the table since we really dont feel comfortable taking it and holding on to it, so we'll only be taking donations through PayPal. I'll be putting a permanent link to their site on my blog in the side bar.

Depending on how much you donate will get you a little something:

-Pencil sketch; bust only - $5 donation
-Pencil sketch; full body, single character - $10 donation
-Inked sketch - $20 donation
-From Colin only, he'll read any horrible fan fiction you send in to Killer Robot for a $15 donation
-From myself only, I will do an abstract piece all in pastels to any song you'd like for a $20 donation
-From Colin only, he'll do a painting for you on 11"x17" on Masonite for a $50 donation
- for a $200 donation, Colin will do a 9 inch sculpture done of any character you want. I know this seems like a lot, but this will be as ornately detailed as he can possibly get, AND it will be hand painted using acrylics.

Here's everything you need to know:

-Toy donations: Please bring any un-opened toys for the drive.
-Monetary donations: Please send any donations of money over to Colin's account - ctcrose@gmail.com with the title of "DONATION" and what you'd like made and from who.

I really hope we can raise lots of donations for Child's Play AND Toys 4 Tots. It'd be nice to spread the holiday spirit to those who need it most.

If you want your commission sent to you, I will do it for an extra $2 (same goes for digital art; I will have it printed up on photo paper and sent out to you).
